Job summary

Rillet is seeking an accountant who wants to be a builder to join our AI-native ERP team in a hybrid US role with NYC/San Francisco proximity or remote option. You will own long-term relationships with customers after sales and implementation, partnering with CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting Managers to deliver scalable, automated solutions on Rillet’s platform.

The role requires hands-on accounting skills, knowledge of US GAAP, ERP experience, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (public audit/assurance or industry GL/Close, Revenue, AP, or Consolidations).
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and the end-to-end close process, exposure to ASC 606/revenue recognition is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations and automated workflows.
• Experience with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct) and comfort picking up new finance tools.
• Bias to action, ownership mindset, and high attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.
• CPA (active or inactive); prior client-facing/consulting or implementation experience is a plus but not required.]

Responsibilities

• Own customer relationships and outcomes: build deep relationships, run success plans, and hold recurring meetings to maximize value attainment.
• Deliver AI-driven accounting solutions by translating complex accounting challenges into automated workflows.
• Bridge accounting requirements with product capabilities, ensuring solutions meet real-world needs.
• Drive platform adoption and expansion through trainings and process optimization guidance.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Implementation for smooth account handoffs and timely issue resolution.
• Develop deep product expertise in Rillet’s AI-native platform and stay updated on new features.
• Represent Rillet with high customer empathy and structured problem solving to ensure delightful interactions.
