Job summary

Ruby Labs Ltd is seeking an Accounting Automation Engineer to automate core accounting tasks across a multi-entity, multi-country setup, leveraging Claude Code and AI-powered automation. You’ll implement automation for AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close, while ensuring compliance with IFRS or US GAAP and strong internal controls.

You’ll work with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, build data pipelines between ERP systems, banks, and spreadsheets, and deliver scalable automation with

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience building automations with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with AI coding tools, preferably Claude Code.
• Ability to run local scripts and schedule jobs (cron, CI pipelines).
• Experience with core processes: AP, AR, bank reconciliation, month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Automate accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Develop data pipelines between ERP, banks, and spreadsheets.
• Provide exception reports for human review and audit trails.
• Support audit processes and controls in multi-entity setups.
• Collaborate across global teams to deploy automation at scale.
