Job summary

Upside is seeking a senior product leader to own the Ascent platform roadmap across both Software Factory and Enterprise Track. You will define sequencing, write precise specs for engineering, and measure maturity to justify strategic investments.

This role requires a hands-on background with AI coding agents and a strong ability to communicate with engineers and executives. You will partner with teams to build reusable AI capabilities, drive a cohesive roadmap, and ensure alignment with

Qualifications

5-8 years leading platform-level initiatives from ambiguity to a working roadmap.
Hands-on experience building with AI coding agents and AI dev tooling.
Ability to write specs and drive prioritization across a technical program without direct authority.
Strong written and verbal communication across engineers and executives.
First-hire mindset to define the roadmap and operating rhythm for a new role.

Responsibilities

Own the Ascent roadmap across Software Factory and Enterprise Track.
Define sequencing and trade-offs; determine which capabilities to invest in first.
Write specs and requirements clear enough for engineers to execute without you in the room.
Track maturity across core capabilities and justify future investments.
Represent Ascent to stakeholders outside RISE in accessible language.
Stay current with AI coding/agent tooling landscape to guide the roadmap.
