Job summary

Centro Escolar University is seeking an AI internship candidate to work on model hosting, inference optimization, and orchestration across multiple models and agents. You will learn to profile, benchmark, and accelerate model execution on edge devices while contributing to open-source tooling and internal libraries.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong technical communication skills to articulate project goals, outcomes, challenges, and decisions clearly.
• Familiarity with model inference and optimization, orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain), model fine-tuning and adaptation, or similar AI systems work.
• Collaboration and ownership mindset, comfortable working in cross-functional teams, seeking clarity proactively, and taking responsibility for outcomes.
• Problem-solving skills including debugging, evaluating technical tradeoffs, and making reasonable decisions among multiple approaches.

Responsibilities

• Work on model hosting and inference optimization, including profiling, benchmarking, and accelerating model execution on resource-constrained devices.
• Contribute to orchestration frameworks and agent workflows, building or extending systems that coordinate multiple models and agents.
• Participate in model customization and fine-tuning by adapting pre-trained language models for specific use cases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with system software, design, and product teams to integrate work into the broader platform.
• Contribute to open-source projects or internal libraries related to inference or orchestration; take ownership of end-to-end outcomes.
