Qualifications

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience building backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
Experience leading engineers (Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer or similar).
Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of software engineers on backend/platform systems.
Own technical direction, architecture and delivery of core services.
Work on scalable, reliable systems powering AI-powered applications.
Collaborate with PMs and other leaders to set priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
Guide decisions on design, performance, reliability and scalability.
Mentor engineers through feedback and technical guidance.
Improve engineering processes and team effectiveness.
Balance hands-on coding with leadership and strategic decisions.
