Job summary

OnePay is hiring a Platform Engineer (AI & Automation) to transform AI strategy into production systems. You will embed with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy agentic AI tooling that automates complex workflows and scales impact.

You will prototype with Cursor and Claude Code, lead discovery with stakeholders, and ensure compliant, auditable AI-driven processes across our SaaS stack on Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience shipping production code.
• Hands-on expertise with AI tooling: LLM APIs, agent frameworks, evaluation techniques.
• Systems integration with REST APIs, SQL data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
• Product Mindset—drive initiatives across org boundaries and communicate trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an AI-native engineer, prototyping and shipping production-grade AI agents and automation workflows.
• Lead structured discovery sessions to surface requirements and translate processes into technical specs and architectures.
• Build, maintain, and secure integrations between SaaS stack and AI services with monitoring and guardrails.
