Job summary

Kelly Services seeks an AI Platform Engineer in Waltham, MA, for end-to-end AI feature development. You will design backend services, deploy ML/LLM models, and drive optimization in real-time AI workflows.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to build scalable, observable AI platforms and ensure reliability in production environments. Hybrid work with onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience with Python, Go, or Java.
• 4+ years deploying machine learning or large language model solutions into production.
• Experience building scalable APIs, backend services, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and observability.
• Experience creating monitoring and performance frameworks for AI apps.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and microservices powering AI-driven apps.
• Integrate ML and large language models into production environments.
• Own AI features end-to-end from implementation to deployment and optimization.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure AI quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot AI systems, model-serving infra, and supporting services.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on architecture and planning.
• Improve scalability, observability, and reliability across AI platforms.
