Kelly Services is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Webster, MA, with hybrid work (3 days onsite). You will lead the design, build, and deployment of production-grade AI solutions, integrating with enterprise platforms and data sources.

The role emphasizes hands-on development in Python, API design, and AI orchestration, aiming to improve operational efficiency and transform business processes. Strong collaboration with business and engineering teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related with 7+ years exp, or Master's with 5+ years.
• 2+ years building and deploying LLM-powered apps in production.
• Experience developing AI-driven workflows or autonomous systems.
• Strong Python programming and software engineering skills.
• APIs, external services integration, automated tests, production support.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or similar.
• Familiarity with foundation model APIs and AWS Bedrock.
• Experience evaluating AI solutions with tests, benchmarks, and performance metrics.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, observability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intelligent AI applications that automate business-critical workflows.
• Build scalable agent-based solutions integrating with data, APIs, and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Evaluate approaches across traditional software, ML, generative AI, and agentic architectures.
• Develop backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Create reusable components and services to accelerate AI initiatives.
• Establish testing, evaluation, and monitoring standards for AI apps in production.
• Implement logging, observability, security controls, and audit capabilities.
• Develop proof-of-concept apps and MVPs to validate business value.
• Support cloud deployments, containerized workloads, and automated pipelines.
• Present findings and business impact to stakeholders.
