Job summary

Addepar, Inc. seeks an AI Engineer to join the AI Platform team. You will design, build, and productionize core AI capabilities powering Addepar's wealth tech platform, leveraging LLMs and agentic frameworks to deliver scalable AI-native products.

This hands-on role requires 1–3+ years of backend experience, strong coding in Python/Go, and a systems-level focus on microservices, APIs, and concurrency. You will own the full lifecycle from prototype to production, collaborating with PMs and other

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, Go, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with LLMs and agentic systems required.
• Strong systems-level understanding of microservices, APIs and concurrency.
• Hands-on AI/LLM ecosystem skills (Databricks, LangChain, MLFlow).
• BS/MS in CS, statistics, math or equivalent; or significant AI projects.
• Record of shipping AI-native products in finance or similar domain.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize core AI capabilities powering the platform.
• Work with LLMs and agentic frameworks to create scalable products.
• Own full lifecycle of AI-native products from prototyping to production.
• Collaborate with product and other eng teams to translate goals into tech.
• Iterate quickly based on performance metrics and user feedback.
