Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our AI Platform team. The role focuses on architecting, leading, and delivering core AI capabilities powering our platform.

You will own end-to-end delivery of AI-native products, ensuring robust, scalable, high-performance production systems. You will work with LLMs, agentic frameworks, MCP/tool use, and productionize AI capabilities while partnering with product managers to translate strategy into technical reality.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of backend software engineering experience with Python, Go, gRPC, AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record shipping complex, production-grade systems.
• Experience shipping AI-native products or demonstrable passion via projects.
• BS/MS in CS, statistics, math, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution and delivery of AI-native products with high velocity.
• Architect, build, and productionize core AI platform components.
• Work with LLMs, vector stores, prompt tuning and agentic frameworks.
• Enforce technical discipline and operational excellence across AI products.
• Iterate on AI products using metrics and user feedback for improvement.
• Evaluate and adopt new AI tech to stay on the frontier.
