Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to build and refine production AI capabilities that empower our teams and projects.

You will evaluate large language models, optimize retrieval-augmented generation, and partner with data engineers and developers to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions across the firm, aligning AI initiatives with business goals and governance practices.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience in software or ML engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM applications in production.
• Working knowledge of RAG, prompt engineering, and context optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI evaluation benchmarks and performance baselines.
• Evaluate models, prompts, and configurations for quality, latency, cost, and risk.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
• Define requirements and success criteria with product teams.
