Job summary

Raydar is hiring in the San Francisco Bay Area for an engineer to build the platform behind AI work. You will tackle distributed systems, data pipelines, and performance optimization while enabling domain experts to write and review tasks. You will ensure reliability as workloads scale.

Responsibilities include designing long-horizon agent workflows, building services for task execution and evaluation, plus improving production issues and recovery. A strong interest in AI agents is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–6 years software engineering experience with end-to-end lifecycle.
• Production software experience with distributed systems, data pipelines or performance optimization.
• Time at a premier AI startup or leading AI lab is a plus.
• Strong ability to investigate unfamiliar codebases with good engineering judgment.
• Genuine interest in AI agents and reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-horizon agent workflows to support trillions of tokens per week.
• Build services and data pipelines for task execution, evaluation results and dataset delivery.
• Investigate production issues and optimize performance, resources and recovery.
• Collaborate with experts to improve software and reduce repetitive work.
• Own design and production operation of new features.
