RTX Enterprise Services in Farmington, CT is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate reusable backend platform capabilities for enterprise AI applications.

You will collaborate with AI Architects, Applied AI, cybersecurity, data teams to deliver secure and scalable platform services across cloud and on‑prem environments. This hybrid role is based in Farmington, CT with potential cross‑site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Software Eng or related STEM with 5+ years (advanced degree = 5+ years).
• 5+ years hands-on backend software engineering.
• Experience designing APIs, microservices, distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build AI platform capabilities including model serving and tool integration.
• Ensure security for identity, secrets, and access management.
• Automate deployment with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Build observability and cost visibility for AI workloads.
