WRITER is seeking an exceptional software engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered platforms for enterprise customers. You will design secure, scalable backend systems and AI integration layers that connect to external tools and data sources, while leading reliability and security practices across teams.

You will work in a hybrid setup across our US hubs (SF/NYC/Seattle) reporting to the senior director of engineering, with compensation scaled to experience and scope.

Competenze

• 5+ years building and operating production backend systems.
• Experience designing API-driven platform services and distributed systems.
• Hands-on AI integration layers and secure third-party integrations.
• Security patterns for OAuth2/OIDC, API keys, and secret management.
• Cloud-native experience with containerized workloads and observability.
• Leadership through ambiguity and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript/Node or Python and PostgreSQL.
