DocuSign, Inc. is seeking an AI Platform Lead to own the AI platform architecture, including the model gateway, agent orchestration frameworks, and inference serving infra. You will prototype and deliver production-grade AI infrastructure used by multiple engineering teams.

The role demands hands-on coding in Python/Go, deep experience with LLM-powered systems, and a track record of driving architectural direction across teams. Hybrid work with in-office requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in Cloud/Platform/Infra engineering or 8+ years with a Master's.
• Experience architecting and operating LLM-powered or agentic systems in production.
• Automating ticket-driven ops into self-service systems.
• Designing and operating LLM gateway across multiple providers.
• Building agent orchestration frameworks in production.
• Experience with GPU/inference serving at scale and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI/agentic platform design, build, and integration.
• Architect multi-provider LLM gateway and routing layer for auto reach.
• Design orchestration frameworks enabling autonomous agents with rules.
• Operate scalable model-serving and GPU infrastructure balancing latency and cost.
• Automate provisioning with self-service systems, reducing handoffs.
• Create golden paths for model fine-tuning and canary rollouts with CI/CD.
• Define reusable architecture patterns and security guardrails.
• Drive platform adoption with product and platform teams.
• Implement security controls and Zero Trust with policy-as-code.
• Establish observability for AI infra and validate performance.
