Job summary

HP is seeking an AI Platforms Analytics and Governance Lead to steer governance and optimization of enterprise AI investments. The role blends data analytics, statistics, and cost management to extract business value from AI platforms such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI.

You will build forecasting models, dashboards for executives, and policies to balance innovation with responsible use, partnering with security, legal, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Typically 7+ years of work experience in data analytics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize enterprise AI platforms including GitHub Copilot and OpenAI.
• Define platform standards, governance policies, and model consumption guidelines.
• Develop budget guardrails and cost allocation strategies.
• Create consumption forecasting models and executive dashboards.
• Identify optimization opportunities: prompt engineering, token reduction, model routing.
• Collaborate with security, legal, privacy, and compliance teams.
• Develop forecasting models for AI credit consumption and capacity needs.
• Mentor lower-level staff and drive data-driven decisions.
