Submittable in Missoula, MT seeks an AI-enabled Operations Intern to identify and automate repetitive processes. You will work with G&A, IT, and Accounting to design AI workflows using Claude and Gemini, then pilot and roll out solutions with a business focus.

The role is hands-on from day one, embedding with real teams, and solving real problems at the intersection of AI, operations, and process improvement. Applicants should be pursuing a degree and be able to commute to Missoula.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude and Gemini on real work problems.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree; juniors, seniors, and grads encouraged.
• Business-related majors preferred; strong AI skills from any major are welcome.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple small projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop AI automated solutions to support daily operations.
• Design, build, and pilot AI-powered workflows with Claude, Gemini, and others.
• Move AI and operations projects from research to testing and rollout.
• Document processes with simple guides for adoption and maintenance.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, test solutions, and iterate from feedback.
• Track impact: time saved, errors reduced, and efficiency gains.
