Our client is seeking an AI Operations Analyst to identify opportunities to improve business processes through artificial intelligence, automation, integrations, and process optimization. This hands-on role will evaluate AI use cases, develop and implement practical solutions, and help teams successfully adopt new technologies.
The position will also support the operational management of enterprise AI tools, including user access, licensing, onboarding, documentation, and ongoing process improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong business process knowledge with a willingness to experiment, build, and implement emerging AI and automation technologies.
Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate examples or work samples showcasing AI, automation, or process-improvement solutions they have developed or implemented.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work with business teams to identify inefficient, repetitive, or manual processes that could benefit from AI, automation, integrations, or workflow improvements.
- Evaluate AI and automation opportunities based on business value, feasibility, cost, security, privacy, and expected outcomes.
- Design, prototype, test, implement, and maintain solutions using generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation, APIs, and integrations.
- Define and track measurable outcomes such as productivity gains, reduced errors, cost savings, and user adoption.
- Review incoming AI and automation requests, clarify business needs, and help prioritize initiatives.
- Support employee training, onboarding, workshops, and adoption efforts for approved AI and automation tools.
- Assist with administration of enterprise AI platforms, including access, licensing, user provisioning, and license utilization.
- Maintain procedures, FAQs, technical documentation, and reporting related to AI operations and adoption.
- Help ensure AI solutions and platform usage follow company standards for governance, security, privacy, and data management.
- Collaborate with both technical teams and business users to troubleshoot issues and drive initiatives through completion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience implementing an AI, automation, or technology solution in a business environment.
- Strong understanding of generative AI, automation platforms, APIs, integrations, AI agents, or related technologies.
- Ability to identify where AI provides meaningful value and where traditional automation or process improvement may be a better approach.
- Experience analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, or cost.
- Strong organizational and project execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow initiatives through completion.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and end users.
- Comfortable working independently, learning new technologies, and researching unfamiliar tools or business processes.
- Experience in operations, technology, process improvement, automation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the importance of accuracy, security, privacy, cost, and human oversight when implementing AI solutions.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience serving as an AI, automation, or technology resource within an organization.
- Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, or change management.
- Exposure to Python, TypeScript, low-code/no-code automation platforms, AI agents, APIs, or systems integration.
- Experience with Excel, SQL, or similar tools for operational reporting and data analysis.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, field-based, or other operational environments.
- Coursework or certifications related to AI, automation, technology, or project management.
- Experience supporting enterprise AI platforms, user access, licensing, or technology operations.
