The role emphasizes building robust RESTful APIs, collaborating with front-end engineers, and guiding AI agents with defined workflows.

You will design agent workflows, define prompt patterns, and ensure structured outputs while mentoring teammates and contributing to on‑call production support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years professional experience with complex codebases; full-stack background.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python; REST API design expertise
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI coding tools as the primary delivery vehicle
• Understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, agent tool use, and workflow chaining
• Awareness of secure AI coding practices

Responsibilities

• Architect RESTful APIs for high performance and maintainability
• Collaborate with front-end engineers on responsive web applications
• Direct and govern AI coding agents across delivery — setting context and enforcing standards
• Design agent workflows using Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot
• Configure prompt-engineering patterns and structured output schemas; debug agent tool calls
• Create technical documentation and mentor junior engineers in AI-native practices
• Participate in on-call production support
