Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking an AI-Native Staff Engineer for a 6-month remote contract. You will operate in an AI-native delivery model, writing production-grade code with Claude and similar tools, then owning and refining it to production readiness.

You will collaborate with a small AI-Native team, review AI-generated code for performance, security, and maintainability, and communicate effectively with executive leadership while guiding engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI-native tooling (Claude/Copilot) across full stack.
• Strong software architecture and design skills.
• Proficient in code review and governance practices.
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL database design.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade software using AI-assisted workflows.
• Review and refine AI-generated code for correctness and security.
• Design clean APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with AI-Native Tech Architect(s) and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver features end-to-end.
