Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an AI‑Native Software Engineer to ship, evaluate, secure, and support real systems. You will work with AI agents and coding assistants across the SDLC to plan, design, code, test, and deploy production‑quality software.

The role requires hands‑on experience with AI tools, cloud‑native development, and secure SDLC practices. In‑office 3 days a week, with hybrid flexibility and a focus on collaboration and delivering secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience across one or more platforms, multiple databases, languages or business applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic AI engineering solutions and production‑quality software.
• Utilize AI coding tools across the SDLC to plan, design, code, test and deploy.
• Evaluate model quality and ensure secure handling of data and privacy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and possible enhancements.
• Review code and mentor teams on coding standards and best practices.
