Unifonic, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager, Software Quality to lead and scale a team of SDETs, drive automation across Web and API testing, and own the QA strategy for AI-native features. This role collaborates with remote cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software at scale.

You will shape testing strategies, establish frameworks, and advocate best practices while supporting Agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• 10+ years development or testing experience.
• 7+ years managing SDETs responsible for qualities through the full SDLC.
• Excellent QE automation architecture knowledge and tools.
• Hands-on QE automation for frontend and backend (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured).
• Experience with Java or Python; SQL and scripting familiarity.
• Understanding of REST/RESTful services.
• Experience working with remote/distributed teams.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of SDETs including hiring and career development.
• Support multiple scrum delivery teams with estimation, planning and testing strategy.
• Own release management across products.
• Own test coverage, reporting, and metrics.
• Scale automated testing frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Advocate QA best practices across development and engineering teams.
• Define and evolve QA for AI-native features and agent-based testing.
• Organize and lead initiatives to improve processes and tooling.
