Job summary

Phenom in the United States is seeking a Product Development Engineer I (AI-Native) for an onsite role. You will transform ideas into validated product features and agentic capabilities, owning them from prototype to production and supporting users in a fast-paced AI-native engineering culture.

At Phenom, you’ll build, test, and ship features, improve reusable agentic skills, and contribute to observability while collaborating with reliability engineers on platform issues.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and clean code.
• Experience with modern AI coding tools and agents is a plus.
• Customer empathy and end-to-end ownership required.

Responsibilities

• Build innovative products on the Phenom platform.
• Take ideas to production with end-to-end design and validation.
• Improve reusable agentic skills for future builds.
• Drive PRs with AI coding agents and ensure observability updates.
• Own deployment gates and collaborate with reliability engineers.
