Job summary

Phenom is hiring a Product Development Engineer I (AI-Native) to turn ideas and customer needs into production-ready features. You’ll own end-to-end delivery, from prototype to production, and work with AI coding tools and agents to accelerate development.

You’ll collaborate across teams, maintain rich per-customer context for agents, and ensure changes stay within guardrails with proper logging. Onsite role in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Strong fundamentals and critical thinking; AI experience is a plus.
• Comfortable across the stack and with modern AI coding tools and agents.
• Customer empathy and end-to-end ownership; adaptable and a strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Build innovative products on the Phenom platform; prototype fast and ship reliable features.
• Take ideas to production: design, build, validate, and improve features end-to-end.
• Develop reusable agentic skills for teams to reuse in future builds.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development and observability hooks.
• Lead debugging loops using logs, traces, and incidents to fix root causes.
• Own delivery to customers with deployment gates and hypercare support.
