Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff AI-Native DevOps Engineer to join the Conversational AI team. You will own the build, deployment, and reliability of the systems behind ServiceNow Otto across SaaS environments.

Your work will span CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and the infrastructure on Kubernetes, with a focus on secure, scalable, and observable delivery. This role combines cloud infrastructure expertise with ML-powered services in production, demanding a pragmatic engineering mindset and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software/infra engineering or related experience.
• 6+ years deploying and operating containerized applications in production.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and IaC.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for automation.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in software engineering workflows.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, and agentic AI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and operate distributed microservices in production Kubernetes environments.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation using IaC and Kubernetes-native tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Operators).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, ArgoCD).
• Implement observability, monitoring, and incident response practices with RCA and remediation.
• Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure with security, cost efficiency, and operational simplicity.
