ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build scalable platform capabilities that boost developer productivity and bring AI-powered workflows into the software development lifecycle. Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React and REST APIs.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
Experience building scalable enterprise-grade applications.
Hands-on with AI-powered development tools and GenAI integration.
Ability to lead architecture discussions and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable software following best practices.
Build AI-native developer experiences to accelerate delivery.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams from concept to production.
Develop reusable platform services, APIs, and frameworks across orgs.

Create modern, responsive front-end experiences with React.
Lead technical decisions and mentor engineers to adopt best practices.
Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and observability.
