ServiceNow is seeking a Staff AI-Native DevOps Engineer to lead a new DevOps practice within the Conversational AI team. You will own CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and Kubernetes-based infrastructure across SaaS environments, partnering with scientists and engineers to improve deployment velocity and reliability.

The role emphasizes cloud-native design, IaC, and AI-enabled tooling, with a focus on scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software or infrastructure engineering.
6+ years deploying containerized apps in production.
4+ years Kubernetes, cloud infra, and IaC experience.
Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for automation.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools in workflows.
Working knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, and agentic AI concepts.

Responsibilities

Deploy, scale, and operate distributed microservices in production Kubernetes environments.
Design and implement infrastructure automation using IaC and Kubernetes-native tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, ArgoCD).
Implement observability and incident response to improve availability and resilience.
Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure with focus on security and cost efficiency.
