Job summary

Medallia is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the end-to-end architectural transformation toward an AI-native platform. You will define the Enterprise AI Reference Architecture, balance centralized platform capabilities with product-owned innovation, and guide convergence across teams over the next 3–5 years.

You will drive standards for agent frameworks, memory/context models, observability, and governance while partnering with Security and Compliance to meet enterprise requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems and platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML infrastructure, agent orchestration, or developer platforms.
• Experience evolving legacy architectures toward AI-centric or autonomous models.
• Proven ability to drive architecture standards across product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the Enterprise AI Reference Architecture and standards.
• Lead platform strategy, runtimes, model gateway, and context services consolidation.
• Drive organizational convergence with Product, Engineering, Security, and AI teams.
• Establish governance, ADRs, and reference implementations for the AI platform.
