Job summary

Yumwoof seeks an AI-native Senior Fullstack Developer to own features end-to-end and act as the core technical engine behind the product. You will bridge business goals with technical architecture, collaborating directly with stakeholders to scope work and deliver elegant solutions fast.

You will work across the stack—Shopify Liquid, Python/FastAPI, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL—emphasizing AI-driven workflows, architectural clarity, and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on fullstack software engineering experience in fast-paced DTC, E-commerce, or high-growth startup environments.
• Deep proficiency with core tech stack: React, TypeScript, Shopify Liquid, Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Feature Ownership across lifecycle: requirements, database models, APIs, UI components, production deployment.
• Direct Stakeholder Collaboration with marketing, operations, and leadership to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• AI-First Engineering: integrate AI tools for spec drafting, prototyping, code generation, testing, and debugging.
• Fullstack Architecture & Maintenance: write clean, scalable code across Shopify Liquid, Python/FastAPI, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL.
• Pragmatic Requirement Scoping: self-manage specs, backlogs, and trade-offs; use AI to speed pre-development planning.
• Cross-Functional Communication: align stakeholders on status and deliverables using business-focused language.
