Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to build AI-native, customer-facing products. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with the Tech Lead, and shape enterprise AI solutions.

Responsibilities include building React + TypeScript frontends, Python/Rust backends, and cloud integrations (AWS/GCP/Azure). You will work on AI features and ensure reliability, security, and cost efficiency while owning projects from design to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building customer-facing products.
• Experience developing backend APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Practical experience implementing AI/LLM technologies.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Rust.
• Integrate applications with AWS or GCP infrastructure.
• Design and maintain databases, integrations, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop AI features involving LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.
• Monitor and improve application reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Take ownership of complex technical initiatives from design through production deployment.
