Job summary

Inventive is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive architecture and delivery of next-generation AI-powered products across a diverse client portfolio. You will work in fast-moving pods with product, design, and leadership.

You will own end-to-end delivery of cloud services (Python/Node/Go) and frontend (React) while integrating LLM workflows, vector stores, and CI/CD pipelines. Austin, TX area is preferred for in-person collaboration; hybrid/remote flexibility is considered for highly collaborative

Qualifications

• 6+ years of total software engineering experience with production-grade apps.
• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django) or similar backend languages and microservices design.
• Frontend proficiency with React/Next.js and modern tooling.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, prompts, vector stores, or agentic frameworks.
• Cloud & DevOps familiarity with AWS or Azure, containers, IaC and CI/CD.
• Experience in startup-like, fast-moving environments requiring pragmatism and strong engineering judgment.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and own end-to-end delivery of cloud services and front-end interfaces.
• Design and deploy AI features, agentic workflows, and RAG systems.
• Collaborate in small pods to translate specs into high-quality code with fast feedback.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker), and IaC.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in API design and development.
