Job summary

Amazon’s Builder Productivity team seeks a Software Development Manager to lead an engineering group focused on AI-native development tools and agentic systems. You will mentor engineers, align with executives, and drive cross-team delivery impacting thousands of Ads engineers.

You will guide the transition from AI-assisted to AI-native development, collaborating with product and platform teams to own scalable, high-availability web services powering Ads.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lead an engineering team to solve challenging technical problems in AI-native development, including agent orchestration and autonomous code generation
• Drive measurable impact on Ads builder productivity at scale: code review velocity, deployment frequency, time-to-production
• Partner with executive stakeholders across Ads organizations to evangelize AI-native development practices and drive adoption
• Evangelize and champion AI-native development across AIGC and drive adoption through influence
• Communicate strategy and design through PRFAQs, design docs, and leadership discussions
