Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager for the ASBX Agentic Ecosystem. Lead high-performing teams, define technical vision, and own end-to-end delivery of AI builder tools across AWS and Amazon platforms.

You will shape platform capabilities, set standards, and collaborate with Legal, Security, and senior leadership to ensure secure, scalable AI workflows for builders at Amazon. This role offers a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of engineering team management experience.
7+ years of engineering experience.
8+ years of leading multi-tier web services development.
1+ years of technical leadership and project management across the SDLC.
1+ years of distributed large-scale systems using Java/C#/C++.
1+ years of SOA experience.
1+ years of distributed programming experience.
5+ years of software engineer/developer experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math or related.
Experience with full lifecycle engineering practices, coding standards, reviews, source control, builds, tests, livesite operations.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

Hire, develop, and retain a strong, inclusive team of software engineers.
Set vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for AI skills, agents, and integrations.
Build platform to publish skills/agents/integrations to AI coding tools.
Own data lifecycle for AI coding usage: capture, de-identification, governance.
Turn AI coding sessions into signals to improve model quality and adoption.
Partner with Legal and Security to protect builder data.
Align with senior leaders and partner teams across Amazon/AWS.
Raise the bar on operational excellence and delivery quality.
