Job summary

Still Sverige Ab seeks a highly experienced Senior AI Data Engineer to transform the Enterprise Data Platform into an AI-native, intelligent platform where AI agents can discover, understand, and interact with enterprise data and capabilities.

This senior role emphasizes building foundations for AI-enabled data platforms, semantic modeling, metadata and context engineering, and scalable cloud-native architectures that integrate with business workflows.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in enterprise software engineering, cloud data engineering, or data platform development.
• Hands-on experience designing and building production AI systems and AI agents.
• Strong understanding of AI agent architectures and production deployment patterns.
• Experience building AI-ready data platforms with semantic understanding and metadata intelligence.
• Cloud data engineering experience, preferably in GCP with BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow/Cloud Run, Composer/Airflow.
• Strong programming skills in Python with scalable service design.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, metadata, governance, lineage, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the Enterprise Data Platform into an AI-native platform enabling intelligent discovery and utilization of enterprise data.
• Design and implement AI-driven capabilities and agents that automate workflows and improve data governance.
• Build the data intelligence foundation including trusted context and reliable data access.
• Design architectures for AI systems to reason over data and safely interact with services and applications.
• Develop scalable AI-enabled solutions that integrate with cloud data platforms and distributed systems.
• Establish practices for secure, governed, observable production AI capabilities.
• Apply data and software engineering principles to build scalable AI-enabled platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with data, AI/ML, architecture, and product teams to deliver high-impact AI features.
