Joinimagine in the United States is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to transform the Enterprise Data Platform into an AI-native, intelligent platform where AI agents can discover, understand, and interact with enterprise data and platform capabilities.

This role focuses on building foundations that enable AI agents and intelligent applications to leverage enterprise data, including context engineering, semantic modeling, and metadata intelligence, with strong cloud data engineering practices.

Formación

• 8-12+ years in enterprise software engineering, cloud data engineering, or data platform development.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems and AI agents integrated with enterprise apps.
• Strong understanding of AI agent architectures, tool calling, orchestration, and memory.
• Experience in AI-ready data platforms with semantic understanding and metadata intelligence.
• Cloud data engineering in GCP with BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow/Cloud Run, and Airflow.
• Strong Python programming and building scalable API/microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data contracts, metadata, lineage, governance and data quality.

Responsabilidades

• Evolve the Enterprise Data Platform into an AI-native platform enabling intelligent data discovery and use.
• Design and implement AI-driven capabilities and agents enhancing data platform capabilities.
• Build data intelligence foundations for AI systems including trusted context and access to data.
• Architect AI systems to reason over data and safely interact with APIs and services.
• Develop scalable AI-enabled solutions integrating with cloud data platforms and distributed systems.
• Establish engineering practices for reliable production AI, including security and observability.
• Apply data and software engineering principles to build maintainable AI-enabled capabilities.
• Partner with data, AI/ML, architecture, and product teams to deliver high-impact AI features.
• Mentor engineers and define best practices for AI-enabled data platform development.
