Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based PhD program in CS/CE/AI/ML/EE or related field.
• Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++ is expected.
• Experience with AI frameworks or runtimes (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, ONNX Runtime, vLLM, or SGLang) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, benchmark, and optimize AI software for training, fine-tuning, and inference across CPU, GPU, and accelerators.
• Profile AI workloads and implement performance improvements across compute, memory, and runtime layers.
• Design and optimize GPU/CPU kernels using HIP, CUDA, OpenCL, or Triton.
