Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in Austin invites students to join a multi-location software engineering co-op or internship. You will work full-time (40 hours/week) in hybrid or onsite structures across the term, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship in a dynamic AI ecosystem.

As a co-op or intern, you’ll build and maintain software applications, learn the full software creation process, and develop automation scripts while improving debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a US-based university pursuing a Master's in Computer/ Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Familiar with C/C++, scripting, and Unix/Linux environments.
• Willing to work full-time for the internship term and collaborate with software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with software engineers to build and maintain applications.
• Receive training on the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Develop scripts to automate parts of the development process.
• Learn debugging methodologies to identify root causes of issues.
• Contribute to crafting technical/functional documents and reports as needed.
