Job summary

Axle Informatics seeks an IT Operations Technical Lead to oversee hybrid cloud and on‑premises infrastructure with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalability. You will lead incident management, automation, and security-aligned operations across diverse environments.

The role requires 5+ years in ops leadership, deep Unix/Linux expertise, and hands-on experience with ITIL, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading operations teams with hands-on improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations aligned with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release).
• Hands-on leadership in Linux/Windows across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Own incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration for mission-critical systems.
• Design, build, and maintain golden images, patching strategies, and system hardening standards.
• Lead patch management and vulnerability remediation programs ensuring compliance.
• Develop automation solutions using AI-assisted development to speed efficiency.
• Support and optimize infrastructure for AI/ML workloads including provisioning and scaling.
• Manage GPU-enabled environments for high-performance computing and ML use cases.
• Oversee monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Mentor a team of systems engineers; collaborate with architecture, security, and development teams.
