Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a technical program manager to lead cross-functional, long-term customer-facing programs across AWS infrastructure. You will partner with product management and engineering to define requirements, manage bottlenecks, and drive reporting enhancements.

You will own metrics, drive continuous improvement, and report program performance to executive stakeholders, coordinating with operations, finance, and technology teams to deliver results at pace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 3+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-team and cross-organization delivery of long-term customer-facing programs.
• Work with product management and engineering to identify requirements, limitations, and bottlenecks.
• Build, integrate, and maintain reporting within existing schemes; implement new reporting where needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define milestones, anticipate bottlenecks, and manage escalations and tradeoffs.
• Plan and coordinate events, facilitation, and action-item management.
• Develop and report on program goals, performance, and efficiency to diverse stakeholders.
