Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a strategic Manager, AI/ML Engineering to lead and scale a high-impact ML/AI engineering team. You will translate technical vision into production-grade systems with clinical precision and high-availability reliability.

You’ll balance long-term technical strategy with hands-on people leadership, develop talent, and build strong cross-functional partnerships with product, data science, and clinical teams to advance Lyra Empower.

Qualifications

Proven experience in engineering management leading ML/AI teams in production.
Strong ability to develop talent, manage performance, and foster collaboration.
Experience balancing long-term strategy with day-to-day leadership.
Deep ML/AI knowledge: transformers, neural networks, fine-tuning.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high-impact ML/AI engineering team.
Own the quarterly AI/ML roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals.
Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture and strong cross-functional partnerships.
Collaborate with Product Management and Data Science to translate clinical requirements into production models.
Oversee ML SDLC, from experimentation to scalable microservices on Kubernetes.
Provide architectural guidance to scale team impact.
