Job summary

Objective Partners seeks an Applied AI / Machine Learning Engineer in New York, NY. This code-first role focuses on architecting agentic workflows, custom LLM infrastructure, and high-throughput retrieval systems to drive business outcomes.

You will bridge cutting-edge models with production-grade execution in a fast-paced setting. The candidate will design scalable AI infrastructure, deploy autonomous multi-agent systems, and implement robust MLOps practices across distributed cloud

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering and ML experience (or 4+ years with an advanced quantitative degree).
• Exceptional Python programming skills with deep experience in PyTorch or JAX.
• Proven experience building production applications with advanced LLM orchestration tools, structured output architectures, and protocol-driven tool integration.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Deployment: Design and maintain high-efficiency AI infrastructure, including dynamic model routing, evaluation frameworks, and low-latency inference on dedicated hardware.
• Agentic Framework Development: Build autonomous multi-agent systems to automate software development, document analysis, and large-scale data workflows across distributed systems.
• Enterprise Search & Retrieval: Scale search architectures leveraging RAG models, vector storage, and embedding pipelines.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional experts to convert challenges into AI-driven production applications.
• MLOps Implementation: Establish CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, drift management, and quality evaluation metrics.
