Job summary

Prestigious Financial Institution is seeking an AI Engineer with strong LLM experience to design and deliver agentic AI systems from architecture to production deployment.

You will architect agent orchestration, integrate tools, and build reliable evaluation pipelines in a regulated environment, while growing our AWS-based AI infrastructure. Mentoring junior engineers and guiding engineering standards are core aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 4-7 years of software engineering experience, with production AI/LLM systems experience preferred.
• Experience mentoring or elevating the work of junior engineers.
• Ability to work effectively in a still-forming, fast-moving team environment.
• Not eligible for employment sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Architect agent orchestration patterns and tool/context integration for reliability in a regulated environment.
• Build AI infrastructure on AWS and contribute to infrastructure self-sufficiency.
• Implement safeguards against AI risks including hallucination detection and prompt injection defense.
• Create audit logging and human-in-the-loop checkpoints for traceability.
• Mentor Associate and Senior Associate engineers through code and architecture reviews.
• Contribute to engineering standards and practices with leadership.
