Job summary

Gain America is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our enterprise-focused teams in the Jersey City, NJ area. This contract-to-hire position focuses on moving ML and LLM capabilities from prototype into production for product teams adopting AI at the core.

You'll work in a hybrid / on-site model with core stack including Python, LLMs, PyTorch, RAG, vector databases, and MLOps, building and deploying scalable AI features for client engagements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in ML/AI engineering.
• Strong Python experience.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG and vector stores.
• Experience deploying and monitoring models in production.

Responsibilities

• Build and fine-tune ML and LLM-powered features.
• Design retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with vector databases.
• Productionize models with sound MLOps practices and monitoring.
