Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Sunnyvale, CA. You will support the GAVE organization by building an end-to-end data pipeline to optimize evidence management for robotic-assisted surgery.

You will help deduplicate and ingest publications, integrate LLM workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining hands-on experience in software development, data management and systems thinking.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in data science and machine learning.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Self-driven with minimal supervision.
• Currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree program.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities
