Highmark Health’s Summer 2027 Applied Gen AI/Data Scientist Graduate Internship offers hands‑on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents within healthcare. You will work with AI researchers, data scientists, and software developers to prototype GenAI applications that improve member and clinician experiences and enterprise productivity.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in CS/Data Science/AI, with strong Python skills and a passion for healthcare innovation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; pursuing graduate degree listed as preferred.
• Strong programming in Python and interest in GenAI technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop GenAI-powered applications and prototypes.
• Evaluate and optimize LLM outputs.
• Research advanced AI techniques for healthcare use cases.
• Design and validate healthcare-focused AI use cases.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams, conduct experiments, document findings.
• Present recommendations and demonstrations to technical and business audiences.
• Gain exposure to enterprise AI strategy and healthcare innovation.
