Job summary

Highmark Health's Summer 2027 Applied Gen AI/Data Scientist Graduate Internship invites graduate students to explore Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agents in a healthcare setting. You will collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to design, prototype, and evaluate GenAI solutions that improve member experiences and clinical workflows.

You'll gain hands-on experience across prompt engineering, RAG, orchestration, and model evaluation while contributing to enterprise AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or in progress.
• Pursuit of a graduate degree in CS/AI/data science is preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Python.

Responsibilities
