Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy machine learning solutions that support customer experience, revenue, and operational efficiency in a hybrid work setup.

You will work across the full ML lifecycle—from data prep and feature engineering to training, evaluation, and deployment—using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, with GenAI and cloud platforms at the core.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Statistics).
• 3+ years applying analytical methods in ML or data science.
• 3+ years experience with AI/ML and Python-based tools.
• Must have experience with Gen AI technologies.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms and AI Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models and algorithms to address complex business problems.
• Handle data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering for model readiness.
• Train, evaluate, and tune a range of ML models.
• Develop and maintain robust, efficient code using Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Document code, experiments, and results clearly.
• Collaborate with engineers across the team.
• Work in an agile environment with a product manager and engineers.
