Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to partner with product managers, software and data teams to design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. You will build AI-powered applications, including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and intelligent automation, with production-grade reliability.
The role combines strong software fundamentals with modern AI tech and cloud-native app development, spanning experimentation to deployment, monitoring, and adoption across the business.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of software/ ML engineering experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong Python production-grade application experience.
- Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI/Flask or similar.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD and containerization.
- Experience deploying on Kubernetes and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.
- Hands-on development of AI-powered applications and LLMs.
- Build production-grade ML systems and secure, observable deployments.
