Cardinal Health seeks an AI/ML engineer focused on Generative AI to partner with product teams and engineers in designing enterprise-scale AI solutions. You will build LLM-powered applications, RAG workflows, AI Agents, and production-grade ML systems while ensuring security, reliability, and measurable impact across enterprise platforms.

The role requires strong software fundamentals and expertise in modern AI technologies, cloud-native app development, and collaboration across the full AI

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Software/Machine Learning/AI engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Data Science/AI.
• Strong Python and production-grade app development experience.
• Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI/Flask or similar.
• Experience with Agile and SDLC
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Harness).
• Experience containerizing with Docker and deploying on Kubernetes (GKE/AKS/EKS/OpenShift).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.
• Develop production-grade ML systems and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers, software/data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business problems into AI products.
• Implement secure, reliable, and observable AI services.
• Govern AI deployments with proper MLOps/LLOps practices.
