Job summary

Wabash Valley Power Alliance is seeking an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer to design, implement, and support AI/ML systems across the organization. The role requires collaboration with multiple business units, member cooperatives, and partners to automate workflows and reduce risks.

This hybrid position combines on-site and remote workdays and focuses on advancing generative AI, NLP, and deep learning initiatives while educating staff on AI/ML tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative science, engineering, or STEM field.
• 3–5 years AI/ML or data analysis experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Present AI/ML findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Design, implement, administer, monitor, and maintain AI/ML systems.
• Develop and implement AI models for predictive maintenance and load forecasting.
• Educate end-users on AI/ML tools within the organization.
